Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #54- Spots and Dots
Hi everyone! Welcome back to another Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. This weeks challenge is to use at least two pattern papers that have spots and/or dots. Our sponsor is the wonderful Meljen Designs. You want to get over to her blog and see her adorable images. She has generously offered to give away 4 images of the winners choice.
This was such a fun challenge for me. As I looked around my craft room at my ribbon and my dp I found I had an abundance to chose from.
Once that selection was made, I needed to find just the right Tilda. I wasn't happy with any that I have in my personal collection, but I did find a stamped image that was sent to me by a stamping buddy. I think this is called Tilda with Lilacs and you can find her at Magnolia-licious. I don't see her in stock at the moment, but I'm sure Diana will get her in for you if you just drop her a note.
Here is the card I made for this challenge...
Here is my card recipe...
Cardstock - Chocolate chip and Whisper White
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny's Flutter Butter Breeze
Chocolate Pearls,
Ribbon from my stash,
Sewing Machine and thread
Flowers - from Wild Orchid Crafts
Punched leaves and butterflies - Martha Stewart Punches
Pearl pin - stash
Charm - stash
Flower Soft
Here is a closer view of how I colored Tilda...
At the time I made this card I didn't finish the inside of the card, but at a later date I needed a birthday card, so quickly finished the inside but didn't get any pictures of it!
As you all know, the flowers are the highlight of my creative process. Sometimes I can take several hours, or leave it and come back in the morning before I make a final decision about their placement! But here are my flowers, with pretty butterflies landing on and around them, brought together with a bow with a charm hanging from it...
It seems that I always use so many Copics on my cards. I frequently use 3 or 4 markers in attaining the shading I desire. Here are the Copics I used to color this card...
I hope you'll find the time to join us this week at Stamptacular and enter a card in our Spots and Dots challenge.
Thanks for dropping by to see my challenge card this week...
