Tilda with 3 flowers...
I have been so busy working on DT projects and other obligations that I've really neglected to just make a card for fun. Even though this card was made for a challenge which has now been cancelled, I thought it was a great opportunity to post it now.
Originally the challenge was to make a card using the colors of your favorite Ice Cream Sundae. Well, I don't eat very much ice cream, but I do really like a Peanut Buster Parfait, so I picked out the DP from Basic Grey called Porcelain. I thought that the colors represented my Sundae quite well.
My images are both from Magnolia-licious. I used #650 - Spring Fence and #3028 - Tilda with Three Flowers, both from the Hoppy Easter Collection. Honestly, this is the best collection they've come out with ever...I just love all the images.
So here's my card...
To pull it all together I used Nestabilities Dies, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain ribbon (SU), a piece of lace, flowers - all from Wild Orchid Crafts - and my sentiment is from a SU set called "Oval All".
Here's a close up of Tilda...
As always, I use Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on my flowers and leaves. Here is a closer view of my flowers so that you can see the shimmer the mist gives...
I needed to finish the inside of my card and had just enough dp to line both sides of the inside. I stamped Tilda again and used my Nestabilities dies and popped her up on the dp. On the notation side I punched the white paper with my Fiskars Embossing Punch. It does emboss a pretty pattern on the paper, but it's really hard to photograph.
I don't want to go and not let you know what Copics I used on this card. Here is a look at my copics along with the card again...
Thank you sor coming by to see my latest Tilda card...
