As a part of the Design Team for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog, I'm participating in a card swap with the other DT members. I needed to make 4 cards, one each for the 4 gals in my group. I was so excited to use this Tilda (#3045 Tilda With Spring Bundle)which I recently received in my order from the fabulous Diana Crick at Magnolia-licious. My cards are now finished and ready to mail out. Because they are going in the mail, I kept them pretty simple - no flowers on these cards.
Our theme is friendship and when I went digging for some dp to use on my card, I found this bright spring like paper that just seemed so happy to me.
Here is my card...
This Tilda was so fun to color! Well, actually, they all are. Isn't she just the cutest thing? She is stamped with Memento ink on Cryogen White (my fav paper) and I used some Ultrafind Flower Soft for her flowers. I also distressed both the image panel and the mat behind her.
The Sentiment is from SU called Oval All. I'm getting a lot of mileage from this stamp. I stamped it twice for each card, used my Nestability scalloped oval die for the shape and distressed the edges. I used pop dots to adhere them together and pop dots again to pop them up off the card. After sewing my panel together I tied a piece of tulle around the panel and then pushed a rhinestone through the knot and secured that to the card. My final touch was to put a Dew Drop at each corner.
Here's how I finished the inside of my card. I had just enough dp left to use on the notation side of each card, and just small strips to use on the top part. Again I used the Oval All set to add a sentiment here on the inside. I repeated the oval shape again on the inside and sewed the bottom panel.
As I made four of these cards, I was anxious to put my stuff away and clean up my work area. I forgot to take a photo of the Copics I used and I just can't remember what colors I used. I hope the girls who are receiving these cards will enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. May your day be blessed!
