Sweet Blossom Easel Card

This sweet little card didn't take me very long to make. Easel cards are so quick and easy and so fun to do. The image is a digital one I won from Cuddly Buddly and I think she is absolutely precious.

Here is my card closed...not very tightly because of the flowers I used on the inside...

I used some new papers which my friend Paola had sent me and paired them with some gorgeous Gina K pure luxury cardstock. I didn't keep track of the Copics I used, so sorry, I was in a hurry to finish this one and get started on a Magnolia image.

Here is a closer look of Sweet Blossom...

I should have taken some more artistic shots of this card, I'll try to remember that next time...

This is the card opened and showing the panel beneath. There is no room to write on this panel, but if you open the card completely then you can write something behind the image panel.

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts - they have a beautiful selection of all kinds of flowers and other embellishments as well. Their service is excellent and even shipping from GB my orders always arrive a week after I place the order. That's fantastic!! I used three different dies for my card. Spellbinder's Labels One for the panel which my image is on, Go Create XXL Square Frames/Frilly #2 and Spellbinder's Fancy Labels for my sentiment, which is from SU. My leaf dies, my latest and most favorite acquisition are from Marianne Creatables. Just love these leaf dies...The little ribbon bow is made from some seam binding.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for your encouraging comments.

Hugs,
Barb

"You've got mail..."

I was so thrilled to win the grand prize of over 160 BP worth of fabulous craft stuff from Cuddly Buddly. One of the first things I did was make a selection of one digi image from each of the seven designers on their site. This is a Chez Pachella - Cuddly Buddly - Toby Tumble image called "You've Got Mail"

I think he would also make a delicious girly card - with some color changes of course - but I wanted to make a guy card. Hard for me to do. No flowers, just some screw brads from my stash.

Here is my card....

Here is a closer view of the little bear peeking through the mail slot!

A couple of side views...

Here is what I did to finish the inside of the card...

Here are the Copics I used on this card...

I hope you enjoyed your visit with me today...

Hugs,
Barb
