Magnolicious-licious July Blog Hop
Ahoy everyone! We've been setting sail with a Blog Hop for July and sure hope that you've been following along, and leaving some love on all the DT's blogs. If you've sailed on over from Patti Jo's harbor then you sailing in the right direction and it is here where you'll drop your anchor, as I'm the last port call. So by now you know what the theme of our blog hop is? Aye, it's A Nautical Theme. We hope you'll view all the entries and then get busy and create something Nautical to enter into the challenge. So hoist your anchor and safe sailing....
Here is my entry for this challenge...
I've made a gate fold card, (can you believe this is my first one?)the front panel slips into the ribbon to hold it closed.
Here is the card partial open...
For those who are interested in knowing what I used on my card, here is the recipe:
Stamps: #112 Sailor Edwin, #364 Boat Tilda, #615 Pier Fence w/Lifebuoy, #558 Barrel (minus skull and anchor) - Magnolia-licious store
Copics used:
Skin - E00, E000, E0000
Hair - Edwin - Y26, Y32, E55
Tilda - E25, E47, E49
Buoy - R22, R46, R89, C00, C1
Rope - E30
Wood - E35, E30, E25
Water - BG10, BG23
Edwin's Suit - B37, B39, B45, C00, C1
Tilda's Suit - R27, C00, C1, C3
Barrel - E31, E35, E55
Stickles - Frosted lace
Atyou Spica - Silver, Red
Clouds and sky - Chalk
Charm - stash
Ribbon, stash
Button - Magnolia Stamps US
Martha Stewart Punch around the page
Now here's a close-up of Edwin on the pier:
I stamped and colored the buoy twice and placed the second on the first with pop dots
Edwin was cut out and also mounted with pop dots.
Here's how I finished the inside:
Tilda and the barrel were both cut out and adhered with pop dots.
I sure hope you've enjoyed dropping anchor at Stampelicious Harbour. I'm the final Port call, so now you can swashbuckle your way over to your stamping table and begin your own wonderful Nautical themed card. Can't wait to see what everyone does...
