This weekend at Magnolia-licious is very special. We are celebrating our two year anniversary/birthday! Sooo, to get everyone in the celebrating mood, the DT are having a Blog Hop today, instead of Monday! And just to prove that we're celebrating big time, we've all made an Explosion Box! So let's get started...
If you've hopped over here from Patti Jo's blog your going in the right direction. If you've just opened up on my blog, please hop back to Cheryl's blog to begin your journey. From my blog you're going to head on over to Mindy's blog. If you get lost you can find your way by going over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog. All the DT are linked to the sidebar!
Well on with the show...here is the lid of my Explosion Box. I have used images and sentiment from the newest collection from Magnolia, The Fairytale Collection! This collection is by far my most favorite, so many darling images all dipicting Fairytales.
All these images can be purchased from Magnolia-licious. The frog's name is Prince Phillip and isn't he just the cutest?
When you remove the lid, the box explodes open to reveal four adorable Tilda's on the inside, waiting for their Prince to come along. I used: Lady Tilda #382, Longing Tilda #3039, Tilda with three flowers #3028, and Tilda with flowing hair #3044. Both of these last two Tilda's are from the Hoppy Easter Collection, also available at Magnolia-licious.
I also used four accessory stamps from the Fairytale collection to "explode" from the center of my box. So I attached #3035 Mini Tilda, the crown, #1407 Dragonfly, and #1405 Fairytale Butterfly to strips of acetate. I added some pearls trailing from the butterflies and one to the center of the crown.
To finish out the centerpiece, I added a bouquet of flowers and leaves, all sprayed with glimmer mist, as are the accessory images.
So here is another view of my completed project...
All images were colored with the following Copic Markers:
Skin: E00, E000, E0000
Hair: Y21, Y32, E34
Dresses: V0000, V01, V04
BG0000, BG10, BG72
Frog: YG91, YG93, Blending solution for the texture
Other Supplies:
ATYOU Spica pens: Red, Lavender, gold
Multiliner pen
Stardust Stickles
White gel Pen
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Martha Stewart Branch punch
Self Adhesive half back pearls
Acetate
