Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #56
It's time for another challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. This weeks challenge is called SEW Special. Create a card or project for someone special...but...there's a catch. You must include some sort of swen effect, either faux or real! The sponsor is Simon Says Stamps and they are offering a $25 gift certificate PLUS free shipping! So pull out your sewing machine or paper piercer and create something that looks sewn!
Here's my card...
I used Webster's Pages for my card front. After coloring Tilda, (which you can purchase through Diana Crick here), I cut her out and popped her up on the center of the leaves. I used Ultra Fine Flowers Soft for her boquet and added three tiny pearls to the center of the bouquet.
On the inside of the card, I used more of the Webster's Pages, again sewing all around the panels. I wanted to use as much of the image on the page to accent my Tilda also. I colored Tilda again and used my Nestabilities Oval and Scalloped oval dies. All my panels are mounted on Hunter Green cardstock. If you look closely you'll see that I added pearls to the corners of each panel.
On the bottom panel I used a section of the Webster's Pages that had a vine flowing down. I think it's a perfect accent to where I will write a note to the recipient.
Here are the Copics I used to color my images...
Thanks for coming by today for a peek at my latest creation. I hope you'll take up the challenge and sew something special and enter your card at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog.
