I have been working so hard for the past several months on my Maggie cards and meeting DT obligations, that I hardly ever have time to just play with an image for fun! It usually takes me several days to bring a card to completion, I'm such a fuss-budget about placement and embellishments that I nearly drive myself to distraction.
This past week, after completing a Maggie card which I will post next week, I decided to give myself a break and just color an image for fun. I chose to do a Mo's Digital Pencil image. Not only is Mo an artist extrordinaire, her images are so much fun to color. This is a new image for me called "Mummu Riding Bike" I also found out that you pronounce her name MooMoo! I haven't riden a bike in years, but every once in a while I wish I had a bike to ride. If I had one it would be blue, my favorite color! So living vicariously through Mummu, I gave her a blue bike.
I have pulled out a bunch of my Autumn dp's and while sifting through the pile I thought Mummu would make a great Autumn card. I love the warm rich earthy tones of fall, but alas, I have a great deal of difficulty making them so on my cards. I manage to make everything too soft!
Here is a close up of Mummu...
I was wanting to complete this card today, so I didn't get too fussy on the inside. Simple repeat of the oval shape and of course the bow and dp...
For my signature on the back I chose to layer my signature stamp with the same colors of cardstock used throughout the card...
If you're interested, here is the card recipe:
Cardstock - all from SU - Old Olive, More Mustard, Kraft
Image is printed on Cryogen White
DP - Creative Imaginations and the leaf pattern is digital
Copic Markers
Stardust Stickles on the flowers,
Glossy Accents on the fender of the bike
Silk Ribbon - stash
Maple Leaf Charm - stash
Creative Memories Oval Cutter
Postage Stamp decor edge scissors
Sewing Machine and Thread
Fabri-Tac to adhere bows
Mounting Tape
ScorTape
Nestabilities Circle, Scalloped and Lacey Circles

Gorgeous card, Barb! I love the soft look of your cards. I tend to go with bold and bright, and will have to work on softer tones.
