Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge for October

October 1st already! Where has this year gone? It seems like just yesterday that Jordan and the twins were leaving to go back to their parents and in just 2 1/2 months they'll be back again! Time is flying by...

Well, that's not what my post is about today. Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog has another challenge up for you to give a try. The DT have posted their projects on the blog and we'd love to see what you come up with! The Challenge?? Use a paper lunch sac in any way you'd like - as a treat bag, a mini scrapbook, or whatever, just decorate it up for a Fall theme or Halloween and post to the blog when you're done! That's all there is to it, so I hope you'll jump in and get creative.

I folded my lunch sac in half and decorated the outside and inside and made a tag that pulls out of the open end of the sac. I've got lots of pictures to show you so lets get going...

Here is the front of my sac...

With much thanks to my friend, Sandy, I had a new Tilda and a spooky house to color for my card. I don't see any of the images I used up on Diana's store right now, but I'm sure if you drop her a line, she can order them for you.

Here is what the inside of the bag looks like...

A closer look at the house and the panel on the left...

Here is #293 Tilda with Pumpkin from the 2009 So Spooky Collection. Again, I don't see her available at the store.

I also used #479 Bat image from the same collection and added him to my card inside and out.

This little tag was made with a real manilla tag which I cut down to fit into my sac. The Happy Halloween sentiment is a recent purchase from a Stamp Store and is by Great Impressions.

My recipe...
DP - Bo Bunny and Digital
Cardstock - SU, Cryogen White
Mesh Ribbon - stash
Ink - Pumpkin Pie (SU) Memento Tuxedo Black
Copic Markers - too numerous to mention
Sentiment in circle - G-Studio
Ribbon - stash
Punch - Spider Web by Martha Stewart
Stickles - Purple
Glimmer Mist - Pearl, Irridescent Gold
Nestabilities - Ovals
Creative Memories - Ovals
Buttons - SU
Crafters Floss
ScorTape
Dimensionals

Finally, one more picture...this is how I finished the back of my sac...

Thanks for dropping by to take a look.

Hugs,
Barb
