Happy Birthday to you.....
Labor Day is now behind us and I must say it was the quietest one ever! I hope every one had a fun and safe long weekend. I did manage to get just a little crafting done, but spent some time getting my hubby out of the house for a while too!
This card is Singing Tilda #3052 from the Wedding Collection 2010. She is adorable, don't you think? She is also available here at Magnolia-licious! She is currently for sale at 40% off! What a great deal!
Here is my card recipe:
Metalic Cardstock - something I've had in my stash; Cryogen White; Very Vanilla
Copic Markers -
Skin: E00, E000, E0000
Hair: C01,03,05,09
Dress: G20, 21
Crystal Stickles
Dimensional Pearls
Atyou Spica pen -Gold
Sentiment - Just Rite Stamper Demi
Pearls - Stash
Ribbon - Stash
Nestabilities - Long Rectangles and Long Rectangles Scalloped
Circle and Scalloped Circle
Sewing Machine and thread
Pop Dots
Digital Designer Paper
Chalk to add accent around Tilda
Martha Stewart Punch - Deep Edge Lattice
I used and meandering stitch around my panels to kind of go with the flow of the dp.
Here is a closer view of Singing Tilda...
On the inside of the card, the beauty of the paper is left open and simply tied with ribbon with a few pearls for accent. While I used the Lattice Deep edge punch to accent my notation side.
I added my signature to the back on my card using my little heart on a ribbon peg stamp by Judith. The Made with Love portion is from The Cutting Cafe
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment of encouragement...
Hugs,
Barb

Hello Barb. Had you put her with blond hair, she would have reminded me of this great actress that once sang this song to a president... But, she has absolutly perfect black hair, OH! I wish I could take lessons from you... Background paper is so chic and delicate. It's a beauty.
