Hi everyone, the Mods are continuing to celebrate the 2nd birthday of Magnolia-licious this week with a sketch created by Chris Sather. In fact all the activities for the Birthday Bash are being hosted by all the Moderators of Magnolia-licious. During this past week they had a wonderful Bingo game going with fun prizes to win.
I decided to make a card using her delightful sketch...
So here is what I came up with. It started out completely different, but I'm much happier with this out come...

Just for fun, here is a close up of the flowers...
A close up of my sentiment (I distressed the edges of the white panel)
Here's a peek at the inside part of the card where you write a personal note. The little frog charm is so adorable with a bead for his belly, but he's a little hard to see. You can enlarge the picture to get an even closer view.
Here is a view of the compete inside of the card...
I hope you're having a lot of fun celebrating with us at Magnolia-licious. I can't wait to see what beautiful creations you come up with.

Beautiful job of coloring Tilda. Her hair has a 3-D affect. I love that but have not figured out how you guys are doing it. :-) Very delicate papers and love the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb,
ReplyDeleteLove the card--her Prince will arrive soon!! Really like the "wood" on the window, it really shows off the stone work even more. Your coloring is wonderful and I love all the accents you added ( of course, your flowers !!) Beautiful card.
