I actually made this side step card for an upcoming challenge, but after it was completed I learned that we were to use only digital images from the sponsor. But nothing is ever wasted, right?
I have seen so many of these side step cards and really wanted to give this a try. Since the challenge was supposed to be a beach theme, I thought Beach Tilda #237 and the bathing Ring #612 both from the Summer Collection 2009 and available at Magnolia-licious. I also used Tilda Swimming #367 from the same collection.

Here is a close up of Tilda and how she is colored. I used real crafter floss for the bows in her hair.
Tilda swimming in the water was a gift from a friend last year, but summer was over by the time the image arrived, so this is the first opportunity I've had to use her...
This is just a short post for today. I have lots more blogging to do and a new project in the process! I can't wait to show you my next card...
How perfectly charming Barb... brings back memories of days at the lake! Awesome card!

Barb, Your step card is different from those I've seen before. Your front image is predominant instead of being on the last step as some do. AND I really like yours! The DP is so perfect for water and your coloring skills shine through spectacular as usual. Great card!
