Dr. Monday M.D. I'm boxed in!

Gooooood morning my lovelies, welcome back to my blog for another Dr. Monday M.D. post.
I'm not tired of making boxes yet, as you can tell. I keep finding more fun projects to make and of course I can never make just ONE!

So before I go any further I want to remind you of these CUTE CUTE CUTE new Prima Chalk Edgers.

Prima Chalk Edgers now in stock...great for stamping & inking your projects easily!
So many pretty colors and only $2 each!

You can also find more inspiration over at Patty Jo's blog.  She is absolutely the QUEEN of Dies.  She is incredible and creative in how she uses them.  So please hop over to her blog to see her awesome creation for this week.

Well, now, on with the show!

I've become an avid follower of Sam Donald's Pootles Papercrafts.  She is always coming up with new and fresh ideas for using punches, stamps and the Envelop Punch board.  So this week (and more to come in the future) I have used her tutorial for Fold Over Top Box and did a little readjusting so that I could put a delightful Mini Maggie on each box.  Incidentally, each box holds two Ghirardelli Caramel filled Chocolate squares...YUM!

Here is the first box I made.  I have used #3021 Love, Love, Love Tilda from the 2013 Special Moments Collection

My second box uses #06 Tilda with Spring Heart from he 2014 Lost and Found Collection.  I'm sorry to say that she is not longer available.  In fact only 7 images remain available from the collection.
Sorry, I've tried to move this image to be under the one below but it won't cooperate!  Anyhoo, here are the three Fold Over Top boxes together...on each of these I used a Mini Brad (SU) and punched a small hole to create the closure.

And finally, here is sweet #12 Afternoon Tea Tilda also from the 2014 Lost and Found Collection.  As with Spring Heart Tilda, this one has sold out.  :-(

Here is one more treat box.  This one is very bright and cheerful and a birthday box.  The closure for this box is different from the other three.  I used the SU Tag Topper for the fold over portion, made a paper bow with my Envelope Punch Board and instead of a small brad to hold the box closed I used two very strong but very tiny magnets.

The image is #3013 Hip Hip Hurray Tilda from the 2013 Special Moments Collection.  She is AVAILABLE!!!

I punched two small bits of coordinating paper to put between the magnets.  If you don't do this you will never get the box opened as the magnets are so strong.  It's a cute finish too!

Well, that's it for me for this Monday.  Be sure to drop by again next Monday to see what I've been up to during the week.

Many Blessings,
Enjoying the journey
Barb
