Dr. Monday M.D. Cute as a button.....

My Dr. Monday M.D. post for today is a little set of note cards and matching envelopes in a sweet little box.

Okay, let's go on with the show...

My daughter came for a visit in March (yes I've been working ahead) and snapped this one up for herself! Thank goodness I'd taken pictures of the set before it left my house.

 Here are the pictures:

Here is the wee box.  I had bought a stack of MME paper which really caught my eye.  So the theme for this project was already decided.  The ribbon and buttons are from my stash.  I used Spellbinders Classic Circles and Scalloped dies.

My first little note card uses #3021 Love Love Love Tilda from the 2013 Special Moments Collection.  The note card is propped up on the matching envelope.  The little flowers are a newly acquired punch from Punch Bunch.

Next I used #04 Tilda with Large Balloon from the 2014 Lost and Found Collection.
This collection must have been very popular, because there are no images showing in the shop.

I'm Flippin' my lid.....

Good morning paper crafting buddies. Here I am again with another Dr. Monday M.D. project.

 I'm flippin' over this one! Ha ha ha! Actually this is a Flip Top Box containing some delightful Note Cards and Envelopes.  This box began as a "Pulley Closing Box" but it didn't work for me so I left off all the instructions for doing the pulley part.  You can find instructions for this box here at this link.

I made 5 little note cards to fit into this box and matching envelopes along with a belly band to hold the box closed.  I love to give this little boxes and note cards as hostess gifts, get well, thank you or just because!

I have lots of pictures of my project. I hope you'll stay with me to the end of my post.  Also, my Dr. Monday Partner, the very talented Patty Jo does the most remarkable things with the dies available at the Magnolia-licious store.  Please drop by to see her project for this week and leave her a comment.  You'll be eligible for the drawing.

Coloring outside the box....

Welcome to another Dr. Monday! Are you ready for another week?

It's February and I think I have a little spring fever because I'm so antsy. I have another BOX project to show you. Did I say BOX? Yes, I know, I know what you're thinking...honestly I warned you several weeks ago that I was on a box kick, so don't blame me if you're rolling your eyes! Hahahaha, I'm just on a roll for now so please indulge me yet one more week.

Did you know that she offers in-store credit which you can use against your order, or save it up and let it accumulate?  Either way it's a great way to save money. Her prices are more than competitive, their fantastic!

 This weeks post is going to be pretty long as the project I want to share with you took a lot of time and required many photos.  Okay, let's get started.  First I'm going to show you the two boxes I made.  I was cruising through Pinterest one night and found this blog. This gals work is fabulous.  She had created an adorable Crayon Box with little note cards to go inside.  She doesn't give  her template but there are hundreds if you google it.  I found a good working template and below you see what I came up with.  It was so much fun...

Here is a view of each box from the side.  I put a little lace around one box and used lace on the front of the other box.  These were so much fun to design, but I couldn't wait to get my little note cards ready. 

Below is a photo of the boxes and the envelopes I made for the note cards.  They were too big to fit inside the boxes once I had the cards done.  So when I give these away, I will tie a pretty ribbon around them and include them with the box full of note cards.

Here is a photo of all 6 of the little note cards I made.  Three for each box.  The first image you see uses two Mini stamps from the Little London Collection 2013 - Afternoon Tea Bench (L1) and Afternoon Tea Tilda (L2) from the same collection.  The rest are from the Special Moments Collection 2013.

Note Card Pocket Booklet

I'm so excited about this post because I'm using the newest collection from Magnolia called Lost and Found. They are ADORABLE!!!

 

  Diana has the entire collection in both regular and mini size and lots of dies and accessories as well. Please drop by her shop before they are sold out and need to back order.

 

So my project is yet another box project, but it's not your regular "box" box! This is a Gift Card and Envelope Booklet. It's so cool. I found the video on YouTube and just had to give it a try. I had all the components of this project completed and was loving it so much, but had to wait for my Maggie's to arrive.  So let me not waste any more time gabbing and get to the photos.

 

 

This first photo is the Booklet closed up so you see the front all decorated.

 

 

 

Here is the top of the Booklet showing the pretty paper bow

 I made using my Envelope Punch Board.

 

 

 

Here is what it looks like when you open the top flap.  As you can see

I used Velcro to hold the Booklet closed.

 

 

 

 

The inside unfolds and is actually two pockets that are 1/2" deep to hold the

sweet Note Cards.  You can put the Note Cards in the bottom pocket and the envelopes in the top.  I just decided to do it as you see here.

Here is the complete set of cards with one envelope open to show you that I added a lining

of matching DP inside each envelope.

 

 

 

This first little Note Card is Tilda With Fantasy Flowers.

 I added a few punched hearts to this card just for fun.

There is space on the lower panel to write a personal note.
