Straight Through My Heart!

This is my third and final Valentine's Day card. It was sold before I even got it finished! Yikes...I was very happy!

When I began this card I was full of great intentions, but somehow things just didn't gel for me and it ended up sitting on the sidelines for more than a week! Finally I found my Mojo, pulled the card out and slowly but surely pulled it together. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the results. And the new owner is thrilled to be able to give it to his wife for Valentines.

This is a Center Step Card and I have used #375 Straight Through My Heart Tilda from 2010. I'm sorry, but she is no longer available at Diana's Magnolia-licious store. However, she still has several images from the latest collection, "Sweet Crazy Love" available in regular size and mini also. So if you are still in need of a Valentine card, you can shop her selection and get some images in time for Valentines.

So, here we go.....

The front of my card...

A closer look at Tilda and how I colored her. Recipe for this card can be found at the bottom of this post.

How I finished off the inside...each layer of the hearts is popped up on dimensional tape with the exception of the large scalloped heart which is adhered with ScorTape.

And finally, here is a cockeyed artsy view...

Did I leave anything out? Gosh I hope not!

I have to say that I've been so inspired by all the beautiful Valentine cards that have been shared through the group! Each creation helps me learn a little more about my craft. Thank you everyone who loves to craft and share their work!

As always, I just love to have to visit my blog and to share in my love for paper crafting and Magnolias. I hope you'll come back very soon to see what I've been up to!

Blessings and hugs,
Barb
