I'm really late with this card. Part of the reason is that I was so busy getting ready for CHA that I simply overlooked this challenge! Before I left for CHA I began putting this card together, but today I finally had some time to get to work on it and I completely changed everything except the image. I had to color her and design the card from scratch. Because I wanted to get it blogged and entered on the Magnolia-licious Highlites site for the challenge,I haven't finished the inside of the card...but I will! Our challenge this month is Pink, Silver, White and Hearts! So ink up your favorite image and start working on your entry for the challenge. I have also added an update on hubby and the children at the end of this post.
This absolutely adorable image, #308 Tilda With Many Hearts and #533 Loving Border are available on Diana's store here.

Update on hubby
I lost one entire day by the flight cancellations coming home from CHA, so yesterday, my first full day home, hubby and I went to his Orthopedic appointment. The xrays are looking pretty good, he's been a very good boy this time. Although it is healing well, the doctor is being very cautious about allowing him much activity. He will be on crutches and non weight bearing for the next 6 weeks. He is pretty disappointed, but is willing to do what it takes to to get back to work full time. So it will be well into March before he'll be able to start some light walking and I know he'll be patient on this issue!
The children! They will be arriving February 14th so we're trying to gear ourselves up for this next phase in our lives. As you all know, we love these kids like they were our very own. It's been exactly one year since they left to be reunited with their parents. We are both excited and nervous about their arrival. It will be a hard few weeks for all of us as they adjust to us again and we all find a routine. Our grand kids are very excited for the children to come back. We now have an awesome play yard and trampoline for them to use - thanks to several of the men in our Sunday School class. They've been so awesome to help in any way they could. Here is a picture of our new back yard...
Thanks for sticking with me to the end of my post...I hope you didn't mind such a long post.
Hugs,
Barb

Oh Barb, I love this card. I like the clean look of the card. Just the perfect amount of embellishment that it's not too fussy. Wonderful dry embossing of those heart images--love the design. (I don't do as much embossing now as I used to.) Top-notch colouring of this so adorable Tilda, but then I don't expect anything else.
