Birthday Love is in the air...

I'm in love!!! I'm in love with this darling image #221 Ribbon Hair Tilda available here from Diana's Magnolia-licious store. One reason I thought she was so darling is that she looks just like the twins who are now in our care!

We all need birthday cards, so she is colored up just in time for an upcoming birthday in my family.

So here is my card...

This card was very fun for me to make because I filled it up with flowers, pearls, ribbons and lace all very girly, just like I like it! Inside and out I've used lots of flowers all sprayed with Glimmer Mist Pearl and Irridescent Gold. Even though I had colored the rose in Tilda's hand I decided to add a "real" rose to the image when I was building up my bouquet to the bottom of the scalloped panel.

Here is a side view of the card showing the dimension of the panels and flowers...

When you open the card up you get another bouquet of flowers making a display of the birthday sentiment. I found it online and printed it out! That way I don't have to think too hard about what to say. As you will see below that, my notation panel is quite plain.

I'm always very appreciative of everyone who visits my blog and leaves a comment.
Hugs,
Barb

  17. Hello Barb, this Tilda is soooo cute! Upon doing my round this morning, someone has also colored her, and I said it reminded me of my first perm given by my mom! A Tonette, my hair was like this, without the bows!LOL. I just love the double pannels behind Tilda, so pretty, and the wonderful lace and bows, and flowers. The inside is just as lovely. Beautiful my friend! Hugs. Danielle.
