Now that I've got my studio up and running and I'm able to find all the little things I put away, I have been able to work on a card. I have just recently received these darling Magnolia stamps from Magnolia-licious. They are from the Fairytale/Prom/Wedding collection. Today I received even more images from the Hoppy Easter Collection - woohoo!
I love to take part in challenges, and since I'm soon going to be showing you my work for Stamptacular Sunday Design Team, I thought I might just have enough time for one of their challenges!
This week on Stamptacular they have a sketch for the challenge. I love to work from a sketch. It takes half the guess work out of your card making, and this one is delightful. Here is the sketch:
Here's the card I made, and I must add that I used scrap dp from my bin, rather than cut up a new piece of dp. I have so much that is readily available to me, and I just never think to use it. Duh!
I'm sorry to say that I can't tell you where I got the dp. It's been in my bin for a long time and I just found colors that worked together. I can tell you that my solid blue cardstock is SU Brocade Blue and the white cardstock is a generic brand.
Here's my card recipe,
Stamps - Magnolia Prom Queen Tilda, sentiment - Michael's $1 bin
DP - stash
Copic Markers
Spellbinders #11 die
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
Flowers - stash
Pearls - stash
Ribbon - stash
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist - Pearl
Sewing Machine
Here are the Copics I used in coloring this darlin' one:
Here's a close up of my flowers and sentiment. You'll notice that after I took the original picture I added one more tiny red rosebud...
Here's how I finished the inside of my card...
Here's a closer view of Tilda inside my card...
Thank you so very much for stopping by to see what I've created.
