Oh, my goodness! I am one excited lady tonight. I don't have a card made, so no pictures, I do have a couple of pictures of the babies at the end of this short post, but I just have to share my great news. I've been accepted into the Copic Certification Class which will be held in San Antonio in December. Oh! I'm so excited. When I received the e-mail from Copic the other day there were about 300 other names on the list. They only take 25 students so it seem like an ominous task to even apply. You had to get your application in by a specific time and send 3 - 5 pictures of your work and give a short bio. I submitted my application at 11:05 p.m. last night. I'm in, I'm in!!!
Okay, here are some pictures of our "special" girls, caught in the act...
Brielle in the back and Josslyn up front sneaking into the buffet in my dining room. They found some Christmas decorations that I had stuffed in there last year. They love this shiny bead garland and even put it around their necks. Needless to say, it's broken and that's okay...they've had lots of fun...

Barb, forget the card for a day, I love your stories about the little girls. They are so cute and your heart is soooooooo big to take care of them for their parents while they are protecting our freedom here. I can tell you are spoiling them. Isn't it funny how we let the little ones play with (and possible break) what we once thought were our prized possessions> Thanks for sharing.

It's me again. Congratulations on being accepted into the Copic Certification class. Wish you were closer (NC) so you could help me use mine. I have done lots of watercoloring but the Copics have been a challenge for me.

Hip Hip Hooray for you, Barb! Congratulations! You deserve being chosen and they just "might" learn a thing or two from you.: ) Love the pictures of your two little "explorers".
