No title - Just kids!

I managed to take a few pictures of the kids today. I'm really scrambling here trying to get some gifts made for the Parents Day Out workers who care for the girls each week, plus several graduation cards done.

I had a wonderful weekend away at Stamp Salado, my Mother's Day gift. I spent the night with my friend, Sandy, who owns the shop, as well as take a watercoloring class on Sunday afternoon. Needless to say I hit the ground running when I arrived back home. My most darling DH kept the three kids for the 24 + hours I was gone. I had a wonderful time, just crafting and stamping and lots of "girl" talk to the wee small hours of the morning with my friend Sandy. Now, it's back to reality.

For part of the nursery care workers' gifts, I needed a photo of the girls, and it's so hard to get them both looking and smiling at the same time, but I did it!

Here they are:

Josslyn on the left and Brielle on the right.

After dinner, Jordan went out back to play for a little bit, while we got the babies bathed and the dishes done and the kitchen cleaned. Usually he runs in and out of the back door until I'm frazzled, but tonight he was quietly playing and we didn't hear a peep out of him until we finally realized that he WAS being quiet. You gotta know that when kids are quiet and staying out of your hair, their into SOMETHING! This needs no explanation:

He fusses like crazy when it's time to take a bath. He cries now when we pour water on his head to rinse his hair, but give him a hose and he drenches himself and anything he can shoot it at. What a boy!

So I'm off to get started on my very late Bible Study this week, and I still have more cards to make. Arghhhh! Not enough hours in the day. What's a mother to do???
