They're Here, they're here...
The kiddos have arrived and things have been hopping all evening. Here are some preliminary pictures of the family. None of us right now, just them. Earl and Lisa will be back on Wednesday evening to have dinner and spend the night with us. Thursday morning they will leave for New York. They will be driving and I'm sure it will be a very sad journey. It's very difficult for them to leave their children behind, no matter how much they know we will love and care for them.
The top picture is of Earl with Josslyn followed by Lisa and Brielle. Then I took all four of them together.
The bottom two are of Jordan or Jordy as we call him. The last one is a typical pose for this rambunctious 2 1/2 year old.
I will have more pictures to follow over the next weeks and months. Probably no cards, but lots of pictures of the kiddos.

What a beautiful family! They are so lucky to have you and your family to care for them. Please keep us updated when you have time.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute, Its has got to be the hardest thing for the parents, my heart hurts for them, but the babies could not be with a better family...
ReplyDeletewonderful pictures! Hugs! I'd send you a bunch of energy if I could; looks like Jordy is going to keep you pretty busy! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI started reading the Cash story
ReplyDeletefrom the end to the beginning. (I don't know why) but anyways, I find myself sitting here with tears in my eyes. I can not imagine the heartache that Lisa &
Earl are going thru. They are so brave, dedicated and self-less to be doing this, in order to keep people like you & me, free. Thank you so much, to the Cash's. My heart goes out to all of you. Atleast they have the peace of mind they need, knowing that you and Bill have them, Barb. You two are definitely angels. Thanks for doing this for them, so they can defend our countries. hugs, Ret.
Barb, I am playing some catch up on your blog. OH how heart wrenching for these parents to leave their children for a year. God Bless them. They are very blessed to be able to leave them with someone they trust. You must be an incrediable lady Barb (not to mention what a wonderful husband you must have!)
ReplyDeletehugs,
Pam
