Day One...
Today was a big day around here. It was my first day alone with all three children, and I did really well. It got quite hectic, and the babies didn't nap the way I had hoped they would, but all in all it was a great day.
Here is a picture of the girls so that you can see how identical they are. I took about a dozen pictures just trying to get a realatively good one so here they are. Josslyn is on the left in the yellow bouncer seat and Brielle is on the right in the pink one.
The first big step for us today was to go on a walk after lunch. I have a twin stroller for the babies and Jordy walked - well most of the way - and we took Fritz our dog on the leash. It was a long walk but we didn't get very far! Slow as molasses in January!
My second big step was to take Jordan for a haircut. I wasn't at all sure how he was going to respond, but he did exceptionally well. And I forgot to take my camera!!! Oh I could just kick myself. His first haircut, and I missed it. I did manage to bring home some clippings of his hair for his scrapbook though. I might just take him back tomorrow and snap a picture anyway. I guess that's cheating, but I'm so upset with myself for forgetting the camera.
Finally Bill got home from work and I was able to get supper started. It's hard with three little ones under your feet. Bill sat outside with Jordy and Josslyn while Brielle took a short nap.
