Spook-tacular Fun Challenge

Hello fellow Maggie lovers. We have a new challenge up at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and we'd love to see you participate. The theme this month is "Spook-tacular Fun". I can't wait to see what you come up with. Here's all you have to do to participate:

We would love to hear from you so leave a comment on the challenge blog or the DT blogs this week for a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia-licious.

This is a Book Fold Card.  I followed Norma Lee's excellent instructions from You Tube.

Since I don't own any Halloween images I chose to use Tilda Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, See to Evil set.  They are so precious! These images and hundreds more are available at Magnolia-licious™ from Diana.  You must check out the latest "Stampin'Bella" images she is carrying.  Sooooo cute!

Here is the front of my card.  I've used some happy halloween dp with Eggplant, Only Orange and Basic Black CS from SU.  I had just a little bit of the black and white large baker's twine to outline a couple of  the layers.  Tilda is colored with Copic markers with Orange Stickles on her shoes.  The little Ghosts and bats are from a ribbon border which has been in my stash for years.  Finally get to use it!

.
Here is a closer look at Miss Tilda.  I used a MS punch for the corner of her panel.

And here are a couple of views of the inside of the Book Card.

I used only purples and oranges for their clothing.  I think those are the best Halloween colors.

The panel to the left of this inside panel says Happy Halloween with lots of spider webs around it.  I don't have a clue where I acquired this stamp, but I've had it for ages.

I put very few adornments on this card other than the few ghosts and bats and a little of the black and white stripped yarn.  The paper itself was busy enough.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I've prepared for this challenge and will feel inspired to join in the fun at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.

See you there...
Many blessing and Hugs XX

  4. Wow, Barb. Fabulous card inside and out. I love that you used these Magnolias for a Halloween theme. They look a bit frightened. Sensational card.
