Good morning! It's a new challenge day at Magnolia-licious™ Challenge Blog. Our theme is
PINK, PEARLS and RIBBONS.
You will find the design team challenge projects by clicking the link.
We'd also like to see what you can come up with. The Challenge lasts through April 13 so you have plenty of time to show us your stuff.
Also, you will have a chance to win a terrific surprise from Diana at Magnolia-licious™ Store if you leave comments on the designer's blogs.
Well here is what I came up with for this challenge. I know, I know, a little late for a Valentines card, so I will hold onto it for next year!
For my card I chose to make a Concertina card! I found the instructions on Splitcoast Stampers and fell in love with the shape and movement of it.
I created a belly band to fit around the card and hold it closed. This card is very dimensional, which I love. The corner stamp was picked up at JoAnn's at the clearance table, the sentiment is from PrintWorks and purchased at Hobby Lobby.
With the belly band off. This adorable image is called "You are my Valentine" and comes with the sentiment included. Super value! Check out the other images in the line at Diana's store.
Here is a closer look at Miss Tilda and how I colored her.
Here is a look at the card from the top.
Here's a view of the side of the card. I used the coordinating papers and alternated them.
A final view of the card with the belly band propped up on the back panel.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Again, it will put your name in the hat to win a wonderful surprise package from Diana.
See you soon ( a presto)
Blessings,
Barb
