Auld Lang Syne....

It's hard to imagine that we're at the end of another year!  It seems that years are only a few weeks in length now, they pass by so quickly.  Pass by is not right - they FLY by -at super sonic speed - and I sometimes feel that they have run me over.

2014 has been a good year.  We've enjoyed new friendships, restored friendships, weathered broken hearts with some of our children and seen others conquer incredible challenges. Had fun traveling abroad, reconnecting with old friends and sharing our path with many new people. In all, God is so faithful and we continue to grow deeper with him day by day.

So!  Here I am to show you my final card for 2014.  It was a practice card, to see if I could conquer the technique so I wasn't paying muck attention to contrast in colors.  This was a fun card to make and my Teamie Norma Lee has a fabulous tutorial on her blog.  Her work is exceptional!

Anyway, here is my card...and as you can see it's almost monochromatic! Never again!

This is the front of my card.  I have used a number of Magnolia Doohickey Dies (listed at end of post) and #3046 Sagittarius Tilda

Here is the little tag pulled out of the pocket.

A closer look at the Love Bird tag and pocket die. I matched the paper of the pocket die to line up (well sorta) with the background paper.  It sure did disappear!

A close up of sweet miss Tilda...

Inside the card

A view of the top of the card to show the mechanics

My "siggy" on the back.

Here's a list of the goodies I used:
CS - SU and Bazill
DP - Magnolia
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers, Adirondack Lights
Adhesive - ScorTape and generic glue
Dies - Magnolia Pocket Die from Collection #1, Love Bird from the Oh La La Collection #3,
Doohickey Mini Heart Lace Die, Spellbinders Classic Ovals and Labels 10, Leaf Die from                  Doohickey Die Christmas Club (#2)
Stamps - #3046 Sagittarius Tilda, #17 Snowy Branch
Sentiments - both from Printworks Collections

I am wishing each and everyone of you and prosperous and healthy 2015.

Richest blessings,
Barb
