It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

Gooooooood morning to all!

Today is a great day =) and a very sad day as well =( Our precious grand-kids, Jordan, Josslyn and Brielle left this afternoon to return home to their parents. Boo hoo! We had a fabulous time with them, it was taxing and exhilarating all at the same time. I'm thankful to have them in my life, but glad I don't have to raise kids anymore! =)

Can you believe it? We're half way through the year already. Hard to think of Christmas when the temperature outside is in the mid 90's and my little veggie patch is coming along splendidly in spite of ME!

I found the directions to making this type of card somewhere on YouTube, but for the life of me I can't find it again, otherwise I would give the credit for this style of card to the awesome gal who took the time to post the instructions. So, though I changed up my card just a little, the idea is totally the same as hers. Here is the front of my Clear Card stock Front Christmas card.

This card was so much fun!  #3060 Mini Secret Tilda.   The sentiment was stamped with Stazon onto the Clear Card stock.

This is a look at the card from the side to show you how the clear card stock is joined to the top and bottom of the red card stock - after it's embossed!

Here is the inside of my card.  This is #3060 Secret Tilda.  She is stamped on the inside using XpressIt Blending Card (yes for the whole panel).  She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers.  The background is a blend of Copic greys and Adorondack Lights.  The sentiment again is from AmyR Stamps and the cute little corner is a Magnolia Dookickey Die called Cute Corner.
I hope I've been able to inspire you today.  These cards are really easy and quick to put together.

Many blessings and hugs,
Barb
