Good Morning dear Blogging friends! I'm so pleased that you've come back to visit my Dr. Monday M.D. project.
Yes I know it's Tuesday, but we had the blog hop yesterday and so had to move the Dr. Monday to Tuesday. I hope that you enjoyed yesterdays blog up and got inspired to do some Spring Themed projects yourself.
Today I have for you below, several gift bags which I made and then decorated with a mini Tilda. Each bag was made using the "Gift Bag Punch Board" by We R Memory Keepers. These are the small bag sizes but I have also made the medium size and the larger size. It saves money. Rather than buying a bag each time you need one for a gift, you can make your own, use up some scrap paper and its so much more personal.
Here is my first bag. I used some paper from my stash, I like to use double sided heavier weight paper, it just works out better.
This paper is from My Mind's Eye. On this bag I used #231 Summer Flower Tilda and mounted her on a Spellbinder Classic Circle and backed her with a Classic Scalloped Circle. My sentiment is from SU Around Array stamp set. The ribbon is from my stash also.
For the top border on the bag I punched out a pretty lacy pattern using one of my Martha Stewart Punch around the page punches.
This image along with #3032 Water Can Tilda are for sale at Diana's store. Click on the name and it will take to to the page from which you may order.
This next one is so cute. I gave this one away with some Valentines candies to my friend at the lab. She was tickled pink to receive such a fun bag filled with yummy stuff.
I used #373 Honey Tilda. I mounted her on Spellbinder Labels 20 Die. The sentiment is from SU A Round Array and I used punched from my stash for the round shaped. The Ribbon and Bakers Twine are both from my stash.
This Gift Bag was made with no fancy top at all. I just made it plain. Again the paper is from the stash. Here I have used #3039 Hip Hurray Tilda, from the 2013 Special Moments Collection. I used Labels 2 for Tilda and a sentiment from SU's A Round Array. That was mounted on a punched circle and mounted on a Green Classic Scalloped Circle die from Spellbinder. The ribbon is from my stash.
On this next Gift Bag I used more of the same paper from MME and did a pretty scalloped edge around the top with my SU Scallop Edge punch. I have used #302 Water can Tilda (she is being sold along with Summer Flower Tilda as a group or bundle). She was cut out with a Spellbinder Classic Oval die and mounted on a Classic Scalloped Oval die. Once again the sentiment is from SU using the same circle punch and Scalloped Circle die from SB.
Here is my final bag for this post. I will admit that I've made more bags of the medium and larger size and they are wonderful! Any-hoo, this bag again uses MME paper, double sided heavier weight works best and I used #3055 Special Day Tilda from the Special Moments 2013 Collection for this bag. I also used SB Classic Square and Classic Square Scalloped edge dies for around Tilda. The ribbon and card stock are from my stash.
Here is a photo of all 5 bags together. I have loved making each and every one. They are so quick and easy to do, just an evening's crafting time. |
That's it for the Dr. Monday M.D. post done on a Tuesday this week. I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I've been working on and wouldn't mind to leave me a comment to let me know you've been here.
Enjoying the Journey
Many Blessings,
Barb <><
