Happy Monday everyone! I just recently received this image in the mail and had to color her up right away.
If anyone asks me, she is my FAVORITE Tilda of all, but there are a few who are very close runners up!
I'm pinched for time lately...lots of activities that have taken me from home, and plenty to do at home as well.
So, one of the most exciting events last week was taking the Intermediate Copic Class in Dallas Texas last Saturday. I learned so much, we had so much information put forth to us that I needed some time to decompress!! I met some wonderful friends there too. I sat beside Katie Tate of "Both Sides of the Paper" fame and we had a wonderful time together. She's a fantastic gal! I also met a new friend Debbie Daniels. The three of us were like the Three Musketeer's! The whole day was a blast and even driving in Dallas traffic to come home couldn't unnerve me completely.
Well anyway lets get back to the topic at hand and that is my new card. Well it's not exactly a card, because as mentioned before, I am pressed for time. So I made a card front and will finish it into a card when time allows.
This is #3095 Ballet Shoes Tilda and she is available at Diana's Magnolia-licious store. She is a MUST!!! I have used some Magnolia DP and a Martha Stewart PATP for my corners. Spellbinders for my other shapes.
Tilda is colored with Copics and I tried to put her in the spotlight by using some yellow chalk with a little Sage Shadow closer to the figure.
The bouquet of a dozen roses is from my stash as is the seam binding bow and the ballet slippers charm.
The rhinestones and sentiment are also from my stash.
Here is a close up of my bouquet and charm.
