Happy April Fool's Day! Do we really say that? Oh, well, this new challenge is no foolin' around! This month our very talented Ruby chose a brand new challenge for you! Make a gift set for baby! We hope you'll be using some of the newest images from the Prince and Princess collection available from Diana here! You can check out all the DT projects at Magnolia-licious Highlites blog.
This is such a sweet collection, and so practical too! We all need to have a card ready to welcome a new baby, right! There is also a darling duck and the sweetest little dragon you've ever seen!
For my gift set I made a card and a little gift tote (which holds a travel size of baby powder, shampoo, conditioner and Q-tips). The gift tote was actually a bag of buttons which I purchased at Hobby Lobby a year or so ago. I didn't throw it away knowing it would come in handy some day. I made a shaped card using my Go Kreate die, SB Lacy Circle and Standard Circle, some butterfly die shapes from my friend, rhinestones and pearls from my stash. I also used Magnolia Doohickey Peony Petals and MS Butterfly punch. Of course I colored with Copic markers and paper pieced the baby's clothing. The button and ribbon is from my stash and the sweet heart charm is from Hobby Lobby. CS is SU Pretty in Pink and the dp is from my stash.
So without further ado...here is my gift set...
I have used two images from the new collection. On the card I used #201 Baby Tilda and on the gift bag I used #3047 Tilda with Floating Hearts.
I will show you pictures of the card and bag separately...I paper pieced the baby's dress to match with my dp!
A close up of Baby Tilda...
Inside of the card...the sentiments are SU.
Now the gift bag...the front...I used Stardust Stickles on the wings and Spica Pen Pink on the hearts...

The back of the bag...this sentiment is computer generated and die cut using the Magnolia Vintage Heart Tag. The little charm is from my stash. The flower is Magnolia Peony Petals.
A lovely shape card with altered gift bag set Barb. These two Tilda images are so awesome. I love the pink scheme. Beside the shape card, I love the sweet tags and the charm are just as wonderful :o)
