A Spoonful of Sugar.....

Happy Monday to everyone! I have had a very crafty weekend and was able to start and finish this card. All this in spite of the fact that our furnace went out and we will have to replace the whole unit! Yikes! It's pretty chilly in the house, but I am thankful that it's not icy cold outside with a foot of snow. Actually our temperatures are pretty moderate - in the low 60's. Tomorrow we will have heat again!

Enough about that, I have a card that I want to show you. If you haven't tried a Krista Smith digi image from Saturated Canary, I urge you to visit her blog and order an image or two. They are fabulous to color - so much fun!

The image I have used on this card is called "Ratatouille". She is so sweet, but the first thing I thought about when I saw her was the song "Just a Spoon Full of Sugar helps the medicine go down". I think she makes a super Get Well card.

Here is the front of my card...

A close up of my coloring (recipe at the end of the post)...

A side view gives you a look at the dimension...

The inside of my card, and I typed out the sentiment on my computer...

The Salutation panel is not quite as gussied up...

The artsy view of the card...
