Hello to all my friends out there in blog land! Here we are already at February 25th, the year is just clipping by so fast! Today is the day for our monthly blog hop at Magnolia-licious All Year Long and I'm so glad that you could join us! I'm the first in line so if you're starting to hop here you're right on the spot. From here you'll go to Danielle's blog to see her fabulous creation. If you find yourself lost, just hop on back to the Magnolia-licious All Year Long group and pick up from the list there.
So let's get started...
I have used the Twisted Easel card style for my card this month. I have used #161 Lightning Edwin for my image. He is available from Diana at the Magnolia-licious store.
I had some of those little strings of lights left over from a previous creation which I had saved especially for a card with this image. I'm sorry, but I colored Edwin many months ago and didn't keep a list of the Copics I used.
I have used my Nestabilities Labels 10 die for around my image and also for my sentiment, which is from JustRight Stampers. I used one of the Spellbinders Fancy Labels dies for some embellishment. My dp is a double sided from Imaginisce called Polar Expressions All Aglow. I've been having a bit of a problem with the settings on my camera lately (because I switched to take a movie of the children) so I apologize that these pictures are not the best.
Here is a close-up of Edwin...
Here is a view of the card from the side...
Finally, I tried to get a picture of the card closed, but I couldn't get it to lay flat...
Thank you to you all for visiting my blog and leaving your comments. I appreciate so much that you take the time out of your busy day to stop by.
Hugs,
Barb

Darling card, Barb! Edwin doesn't see too much action so it's nice to see him all wrapped up in lights. Cute accents!

Barb, this is adorable. Love the twisted easel style (first time I've seen it). Edwin is just too cute, and you've found the perfect embellies in that string of lights. I had to laugh about your camera issue, every time I switch settings to get action shots or video of my little ones, it takes me forever to get it adjusted back properly to shoot cards. But I imagine your precious videos are well worth the camera trouble!
ReplyDeleteCute as can be!!! Love how you did this twisted card with your perfect accents!!! Adorable Barb!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Miss Barb! How you are accomplishing all this I will never know - even when the kids are at school or daycare, there is the laundry and the shopping and the constant cooking --- and wait a minute - this is supposed to be about your delightful card. I must say, Twisted easel cards are in vogue right now and your card is Christmas Festive. Love the papers and the embellishments. Very smart! Getting your Christmas cards going. A very merry card indeed!
