An Apple a day...they say...

I just couldn't resist this wonderful paper by 7 Gypsies called Gooseberry Patch - Farmer's Market. The wonderful green gingham pattern with the border across the top filled with all sorts of preserves and fresh fruits and veggies just drew me in. And I knew which image would be just perfect with this paper too! Every once in a while you just hit a homerun and I have to say I really love this card.

This card came together quite quickly, which is unusual for me, as at times I struggle for several days over every aspect of a card.

So here is the card I made with this delightful paper and wonderful #3053 Apple Tilda from the Cozy Autumn Collection available from Magnolia-licious. I used #390 Tilda Picking Peaches for the inside of my card but I colored the peaches red like apples.

Here is a closer look of Apple Tilda with her bright red apples...

I didn't want to waste the last 6 inches of that delicious border, so I simply zigzaged the piece to my cardstock for the top portion of the inside of my card. I didnt' have much left of the green gingham so I used it for my notation panel. The sentiment is computer generated and then I colored Tilda Picking Peaches (in this case apples) to match the front of the card. I popped her up on popdots so that her arm comes over the sentiment portion.

Here is a closer look of Tilda picking those luscious apples...

For my siguature on the back I matched the cardstock and the green gingham and added my signature stamp on top of it...
