Friday's Child is loving and giving...

I'm a Friday's child! Do you remember the little rhyme?

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who's born on the Sabbath Day
is bonny and blithe, and good and gay!

So what does that have to do with anything you ask? Well, over at Mo's Digital Pencil Blog there is a call for a new Guest Design Team member to join the dream team as a designer for one month. You must use a Mo image, and the sketch provided. I hadn't had a chance yet to use this sweet image so I decided to use her for my entry card.

They are looking for someone to join their Dream Team for one month. Well, now that I have a lot of free time, I thought it would be a great pick. I just love Mo's beautiful digital images, and creating with them would be a dream come true.

Here is my card...

I'm still learning how to color Ethnic skin and I love the tutorial Suzanne Dean gives on her blog. She teaches you everything you need to color light or dark skin. It's a super resource.

Here is a closer view of my image...

It took me a little longer to finish the inside of my card, but it's finally done...

A closer view of the bird...

My pretty flowers...

And here are the Copics I used to color my image...

Thanks for stopping by my blog to see my latest creation. I have lots of ideas bubbling in my head for some others, so I'm off to create...
