Get Well Soon...
I have made this little card for a friend of mine who will be having surgery on Tuesday for Breast Cancer. Oh, what an ugly disease this is. I hope this card will cheer her up, even though it's not a Magnolia!
I CASED this card from Anita Hagin's blog. She has a beautiful blog full of wonderful creations. So since I was using a hAnglar image, I wanted to make the card in the Swedish style. Vivi and Regina in Brazil were so kind to send me some hAnglar stamped images so that I could enjoy them. The images are not available outside of Sweden, Norway or Finland. I don't even know the name of this sweet image but here is a close up of her...
For her face I used E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20 and R01. For her hat and dress I used B12, B21, B23 and a Blender Marker. The Flowers are G40 and G82 (leaves) R22 and Y21 (flower center). The Bench is G24, G40 and G82. The Shoes are R22 and R20. The Bear is E30, E31, E34, and E35. For the hair I used Y26, Y21 and Y23. All edges are distress with Vintage Photo.
The get well sentiment is from Just Rite Stampers Designer Center's and Borders. I hand stitched a piece of sheer ribbon to put behind the seintiment. The inside of the card is finished, but I wrote a note to Jacque in it before I took pictures. Sorry!
Thanks for stopping by my blog to see my latest card creation...

ReplyDeleteBarb, this is just beautiful. I am so sorry we cannot get these stamps here. I am sure they would be wildly popular. If this is for someone whose name starts with a J, I would love to send her one also but am not sure I have her correct address. I think she is on the M list, right? Beautiful card.
