I finally got it done...
I'm so enjoying working with Mo images. You can find more of her delightful illustrations here. I just recently purchased her series of "Terrible Two's" and this sweet image is "Jill". Now don't we all see this look on the sweet faces of our young ones now and then?
I colored her with my Copic markers well over a week ago, but with a little tummy virus plaguing the girls and I, there was no time to get it finished into a card. So today, while I was also getting my Christmas baking done and the babies slept for about 5 hours, I managed to get it completed.
Here is a close-up of my coloring skills. I'm still working on that shadow around my images and have far to go, but I'm getting an airbrushing system for Christmas and can't wait to get that puppy up and running. I know I'm getting it because I bought it and will wrap it and put it under the tree.
I'm in the process of selling many of my Stampin' Up! retireds and hopefully after Christmas can get a price list here on my blog. In the meantime you can check out what's for sale and the dirt cheap prices over on SCS under B/S/ or T. It's listed under the name "Foster Mom". If you're interested in any of them just let me know.
Thanks for stopping by to see my work.

Barb: I think you had this posted on SCS and I commented, but just in case it was the same image/different card, this is so cute! The coloring is perfect and this image reminds me of my pouty little girl!
ReplyDeleteMorning Barb, the look is right on... it reminds me of my granddaughter when she couldn't get her way. Love the way you colored it. Merry Christmas...
ReplyDeleteYou can't get any cutier than this! I do love your coloring. Start with a lighter color first on your shadowing, then add the darker closer to the image then go back with the lighter and blend.
ReplyDeleteHey, Barb.....which colors did you use on her face?
ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable, i love it. Your twin girls are so so sweet :)
