I have been quite busy over the past week. The girls are such busy babies and they keep me hopping most of the time. This week I chose a hAnglar image and used my Prisma Pencils to color her. I had just one sheet of this pretty dp from 29th Street...ummm...something. I can't remember exactly and I threw out the little strip. Anyway, I thought it was so pretty and would make a neat card.

The inside of this one was very tough for me. I didn't have much paper left to do what I wanted to do, so I just had to piece it as best as I could. There is no white to write on and that bothered me until I realized that a black journalling pen could be easily seen. So here is the inside of my card...

The butterfly punch is a new addition to my punch collection, the three little cream colored flowers are done with my SU! Triple Flower Punch. I used a MS Snowflake punch to add some texture and depth behind the three cream flowers in my spray. The Turquoise Rose came in a recent package from the UK. All the flowers, leaves and butterflies were sprayed with Glimmer Mist Bronze and Pearl. Other punches used were MS Lace Edged punch, Nestabilities Oval plain and Scalloped and a corner rounder. Pearls are from my stash. All cardstock is by SU!

Thanks for stopping in to view my latest creation...hugs...Barb

  6. Barb, This is very sweet in color and design, wonderful coloring and a nice blend of CS and image colors. I think you were very creative on the inside using the remainder of your print CS to great advantage. Sometimes "less is best". Wish I could get hold of some of those images. I have two little grand daughters and they would be perfect for their cards. Hugs

  9. Barb This is my second comment for this one. I know you said you only had one sheet of paper and had to make it do. This card is one of my favorites of yours because it is more simple. So it gets two votes from me! : ) I love looking at your work. Love and hugs, Martha
