Busy Little Elf
No cards to post today, but I am in the middle of a huge project. After seeing an Advent Calendar Box on Norma Lee's blog I decided to make one for the children this year. Well, four days into the project and I feel like I'm never going to get finished. Here is a picture of what it looks like now that I've got all the drawers assembled - no easy task - and I'm putting the shelf fronts and knobs on. I'll never make antoher one! (heaving a hugh sigh)

I have been contemplating doing an advent calendar drawer thingie... It looks like if I am going to, I better get at it! :) I can't wait to see your finished project! I am sure I will chicken out and end up saying I will do one next year... and then the next year...

Sometimes we have to ask ourselves "Y" do we do this - and then the answer comes back- We are mad and just love Craft!!LOL. Looking forward to seeing this finished. Hugs Debra.
ReplyDeleteoh don't put me off - I saw the project too and wanted to have a go but got put off by the cost of the matchboxes and the wasted matches.
ReplyDeleteDid you find somewhere to buy empties or did you just dispose of the matches? It just seems so wasteful.

Barb, I can just see that it's going to be beautiful. But yeah, halfway through I was asking myself, what did I get myself into? LOL. But it will be worth it. Hang in there!!
