Magnolia Highlites September Challenge

This month is was Diana Crick's turn to come up with a challenge. Well she came up with a fantastic project - A Mini Accordion File Folder. The instructions are wonderfully easy and it went together so well. Just need a Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape and some Tilda images. You can find the challenge here at the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog.

I found my paper at Hobby Lobby and sponged the edges to give it a softer look. I used SU! Grosgrain Ribbon in Chocolate Chip instead of the Card Stock flap closure

Here's a side view of the file...

And a close up of my coloring...

I stamped my image twice and then cut and adhered with pop dots the bandana, the apron and the clogs. I added small bling beads to her clogs also.

On the Rolling Pin, I colored it and then covered with Diamond Glaze to give it a bit more depth. I don't have any baking charms, so I punched a hole in it, put some linen thread through and strung it from my bow.

Off to try another project...

Okay, this is the first time I've seen anything being done to Tilda's eyes. Yeah, her eyes are much bigger in the newer collections than they used to be. Are you starting a trend here?

  12. Ok trying this again- other comment is lost in cyber space.
So I said I love this file - will be great to tuck recipes in and give as a gift- Did you do something different to Tilda's eyes or do the new ones have bigger eyes - I think it's cute that way . Love that you layered up just parts of her to give her some dept. Awesome as always ,
    God Bless
