A Reason To Celebrate...

I always need birthday cards! We all do, but so many of my cards are just "all/any occasion" cards. Well this card, which took me three days to make (YIKES!!) is just what I need to have on hand. Next month is a huge birthday month for us so I know this will come in handy.

Okay, this is not my original card. In fact this is the third time I've changed this card around, not being happy with my two first attempts. I made some changes to the original by removing the green buttons and replacing them with some teal buttons. I also removed the organdy ribbon and replaced with with Certainly Celery and I took out the pin with beads on it. Since this is the third time to work on this card, I'm throwing in the towel. It is what it is!




This week's challenge over on The Next Level is buttons and bows. After coloring my image it took me forever to find a layout that suited my purposes. I have followed the sketch from this weeks Magnolia-licious Highlites blog challenge. So I actually covered two challenges in one card.
