Get Well Wishes...

Just yesterday I received my newest order from Magnolia-licious. Inside one of the little pouches was some beautiful ribbon and buttons. I was so surprised, because the order was shipped on Saturday and arrived on Monday! That's great service, and thank you Diana Crick for being so diligent in seeing that we "Maggie" lover's are kept happy.

I also received an e-mail from on the the Magnolia-licious yahoo group members asking for RAK's for a lady who just had back surgery and won't be up and able to stamp for at least 3 months! Oh horror!

I immediately turned to my new images and looked them over carefully. I really wanted to use the teal ribbon which was included in my order so I began looking to see what I had to go with it. My friend, Millie, had given me three cards which she had die cut with large scallops all around the edges. Well, there was one that was the right color...so now for some DP. I started going through my growing stash and found this lovely paper I had picked up at the Scrapbooking store and loved the colors in it. I pulled out, as best I could, the colors from the paper to color my Tilda With Flowers. I'm always afraid to make that first swipe with my markers, and usually leave the hair to the last, because somehow it seems the most difficult.

I love this paper with the birds on it and will probably go back and pick up more. It's perfect Tilda paper.

Here is a little closer view of my focal image. I used Flower Soft for the flowers in the basket - my first time to use this neat stuff. I thought the colors of the Flower Soft were pretty close to my dress color, hmmmmm, maybe too close! I also used my new fragrance "Magnolia-licious" Scent My Cards on this one.

Here is yet a closer look at Tilda:

And...here are the Copics I used to create her...

I hope you're feeling better soon, Peggy, and that this little card will brighten your day.
