Using a little leverage....

Ciao my little Chickadees! I hope you are all doing well today.

I have a really fun little card to share with you today. I'm working on a tutorial for this card and will post that later. This is called a Lever Card and when you see how it operates you'll see why. It seems I'm never content to make a simple square card; I love to try different techniques.

So here we go...

This is the front of my Lever Card.  You can see that I've used Spellbinders Labels 18 in varying sizes for the 'lever' portion of my card.  The DSP is Painted Blossoms from SU.  The sentiment is from LOTV.

In this photo you can see the card as is opens.  You can see how the lever fits through the opening on the front of the card.

And now, the card is fully extended and the narrow panels to put on your embellishments.

Here is the little image I chose for this card.  Isn't she sweet? She is a Wild Rose Studios image #321 Bella Party. She is a very recent acquission for me from Magnolia-licious™.www.magnoliastamps.us  Diana has a collection of this image and several other with the same little Bella.  Stop by the store and see what you "can't live without".
I have colored my image with copic markers and added a little color to the background with Adirondiack Lights.  I also used a little Spica Atyou  pen for some sparkle on  the stars.

The sentiments are both from SU but from different sets.

Here is a peek at the card from the top.  Now you can really see how the lever operates.

Thank you for joining me today.

Many Blessings and hugs,
Ciao
Barb
