A B I N G O Challenge

Hallo, dear ones!

I am back today with a brand new Challenge at Mangolia-licious™ Challenge Blog .  You will love this challenge, because you can choose which three elements you want to  include on your project.

So here is what it will look like:

You just chose a row, up, down, across, diagonally and work those three ingredients onto your creation.  Easy Peasy!  I have to say this is my FIRST time to do a bingo card!

For my card, I chose a darling image form Magnolia-licious™ store.  She is a Saturated Canary image called "Balloon Wishes" but, boohoo  she is not available.  While you're over visiting at Diana's wonderful store, please check out the special sales prices she has on dies. There are many new dies available and they are all delicious!

This is my card front.   I started with a card base of Very Vanilla card stock and made the layers using my Go Kreate XXL Square Frames Frilly #2.  The pretty designer paper was some I found at a stamp store not far from where I live.  I fell in love with the soft roses.  You can only see a small portion of it on the front of the card, there's a little more on the inside....but you'll have to wait a bit.  I used Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangle to frame the image.  She is colored with Copic Markers and I have added Ranger Glossy Accents for her glasses.  The flowers, ribbon and butterfly are from my stash.  Down the left side of my image panel is a pretty piece of lace and there's a little more on the inside as well...be patient...it's coming up soon.

Moving on...
I have a sweet little tag - Vintage Heart Tag - and added a sentiment from LOTV. It slides behind two of the CS panels in the top left corner.  Oh, BTW, I cut the balloon off the image as it was too wide and then added it with dimensionals after the panel was adhered down.

Here is a closer look and the sweet Balloon Wishes image.  Hmmmm, you can't  see the shine I added to her glasses.

Now, let's have a look at the inside. I was very excited to come up with this idea and figured out how to make it work....TADA!

Since I turned this card to open differently than most of my cards I needed to come up with a way to work it out. So I cut my panel in half, but then my sentiment would be bent in the middle.  Well, it ended up folding up in the middle but so much better because it's like a pop up panel.  The sentiment on this card is one that I found at Joann's as they are moving their location and the price was a steal.  In fact I bought a Thank You sentiment and a Corner adorner of the same style. The little banner was made using SU Banner punch, my  very small heart punch and then popped small pink pearls into the center of each heart.  They are attached to a small piece of irridescent thread.  On the right hand side you can see that I added another piece of lace.  I colored the sentiment with a Copic Marker and added two small SU 1/8" gingham ribbon bows.  It is no longer available so I'm hording it.  I finished off the back with two more CS panels and my Signature stamp in the center - sorry no picture of that.

Okay, one more picture - a close up of the floral arrangement...

So now you've finally come to the end of my post.  I hope you've enjoyed and are inspired enough to get working on your own.

And let me remind you here that every week, someone who leaves a comment on one the the Challenge DT blogs will receive a special surprise package from Diana.  So if you need more inspiration, please visit the Challenge Blog and click on the DT members name to leave a comment on her blog.  Good luck
