My First CandiBeans Project

Good afternoon friends! I am back from my wonderful trip to Hawaii, where I spent 7 glorious days with my sisters for our Second Annual Sisters Reunion. It was so much fun, and certainly hard to leave the balmy temperatures. We did so much together, The Polynesian Cultural Center (a must) and Whale Watching, of course lots and lots of shopping and eating and playing cards and eating and relaxing and lazing around.

Anyhoo, I've jumped right back into my studio and just had to make a project with my new Candibeans image #7021 Gardening Jessie.   Please check out the Magnolia-licious store for more Candibeans images, Magnolia stamps and much, much more.

My package from Diana arrived while I was away and I wanted to get started right as soon as possible. I found this gorgeous paper at Hobby Lobby and I think I'll go back for more. It's so elegant!! I decided I couldn't bear to cut into it and decided to make a 12 x 12 No Cut Gift Box. I have made a number of these boxes and will be posting them next month along with a link to learn how to make them.

 So here is my project...
This is Jessie who is mounted on a Belly Band and slipped into place over the box.

This is just the Belly Band.

Here is the Gift Box opened to reveal the little box inside into which I have put some sweet little Flameless  Candles.  These are smaller than the Votive size and fit perfectly into the box.

Here I've removed the little candles and pushed the box flat to give you an idea of  what the paper looks like.

Here is a photo of the entire project.

Here is the list of the ingredients I used to make this project:

DP - from Hobby Lobby
Card Stock - SU Brushed Gold for the Belly Band, Shiny Metallic from stash
Image - Candibeans # 7021 Gardening Jessie
Inks - Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers, Adirondack Lights  (Shell Pink, Cloudy Blue)
Adhesives - ScorTape, Crafter's Pick

I so appreciate your dropping by to see what I've been up to.  Your sweet comments are always appreciated :-)

Many Blessings,
Barb

P.S. The symbol you see above is one you see all over Hawaii.  There is a store in Honolulu where they sell T-shirts, caps, sunglasses and stickers etc.  I wanted to get a sticker for my car window, but time ran out.  This symbol stands for HE is greater than I.  HE>i  So cool!
