Happy Monday all my lovelies. We had a Super Bowl party here last night and we all had a blast. I'm not much into football, but the food and friendship was priceless.

When Baseball season starts up, then I'll be MIA from almost everything. I love Baseball and watch every game the Texas Rangers play. I'm a huge fan...I kid you not!

Anyhoo, today I have just a fun post to share with you. My friend and crafting buddy of several years has a Silhouette Portrait. I had no idea how much fun it could be! I must have been under a rock for the past few years. So I went to her house last week and we had a play date. She cut out several different box shapes for me and this is what I came up with.

The DP I used is retired from SU :-( I fell in love with it and the card stock. The DP is a great weight for making box shapes with.

I made a belly band to hold the card/box closed.  The band is made from stretchy hair band product that I bought at Hobby Lobby in the sewing department.  It comes in several colors and works SO well for any card/box that requires a belly band.

Here is the front/top of the card/box.  I colored London Tilda (L9) from the 2013 Little London Collection.

This photo shows the card/box with the belly band removed and the sides pulling open to reveal the sentiment inside.  You could also include a little hand written note in place of the sentiment or just add a note on a separate piece of paper.

Here is another view of the card/box showing the depth and some of the folds.

I made my own envelope to match the card.  I had just 2 sheets of Baja Breeze card stock left.  I used a Martha Stewart corner punch to make the flap of the envelope pretty.

Here is a side view of the envelope so show you the depth of it.  I am so enjoying my Envelope Punch Board by weRmemory keepers.

Here is the artictic view of the card/box.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  I hope everyone is keeping warm and safe.

Enjoying the Journey,
Many blessings,
Barb
