Welcome once again my lovlies! It's Thursday again and ya know what that means? Yep! Another fabulous challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog.
This week we want you to Tickle our Funny Bones! Hahaha! Come on now, we know you have a great sense of humor! All ya gotta do is pick one of Mo's fantastic images and create a fun/funny/funnier card with it. Easy peasy, right?
Believe it or not I really had a hard time with this theme. When it came right down to it I realized that I had NO sense of humor! No kidding!! Hahaha! Well I do, really, but this was still hard for me and my stumbling block was a humorous sentiment. So if I can do it I just know that you can!!!! So go ahead and grab an image and show us the "funny" side of life!
Here's what I came up with...This is "Bossy" and having lived with twin girls for the past 14 months, I believe I'm an expert on the topic!
A closer look at this sassy gal.....
A side view of the card....
The Sentiment panel on the inside...
The Salutation panel...I also Mo's image called Bella on my Birthday here. I just moved the image to the edge of my paper and erased everything but the birthday cake. Works like a charm...
And last, but not least, my crooked, artsy view of the card.
My card recipe:
DP - 6X6 stack by Nikki Sirils called Ella's Day Out
CS - Kraft and SU Blushing Bride, Bazzill, Cryogen White
Copics used:
Skin - E0000, 00, 11 and chalk for cheeks
Hair - E25, 23, 30, 50
Dress - R81, 83, 85, BG90, 93, 95
Grass - YG91, 93, 97
Spica Pen - Pink
Gel Pen - White
Distress Inks - weathered wood, tattered rose
Buttons/twine - stash
Corner pieces - my BFF Paola Levi
Okay, that's it for me for today...I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Blessings and hugs
