More surgery to come....oh my!!!

Just an update on my hubby. He came through surgery yesterday very well and isn't in a lot of pain but is still dealing with a low grade fever. He is going back to surgery tomorrow (Sunday) and they will flush out the area again and if possible, remove some of the hardware. He will come home sometime next week with a PIC line, I think that's what you call it, so that he will be having long term antibiotics administered. He pain is much better than after his previous surgeries. I drove to the hospital today so that we could spend even a little time together, and it was very stressful with all three kids in tow. When I left Jordan lost it and cried uncontrollably until we got into the car. Then I had to make a stop at Walmart - nobody has had naps so I've plugged them all into the TV with a new DVD! Now I can breath for a little while...
I will keep updating my blog as things progress, but as far as crafting, I'm going to be MIA for the next month, and hopefully no longer.

Thanks for all the warm wishes I've received, you guys are the best...

Hugs,
Barb

  8. Dearest Barb,

I am so sorry to hear about your husband, I had been gone for a few days and was shocked to see about him, what happen? If there is anything my son can do to help you just call him there in Waco and they could help you. I wish I was down there to help you, bless you and your family. Keeping your family in prayer. It sounds like your hubby is on the right road and that things will get better soon, until then...I will miss you, but now is certainly the time to priortize and family, of course, comes first. 11. Oh my gosh, Barb!! I've been so busy with traveling and work that I had no idea. I have over 400 emails on Yahoo to wade through. Sandy mentioned that Bill had MRSA...but I hadn't realized it's in the bone...I also didn't know he had to have his hardware removed. How scary for you!! My thoughts and prayers are with you, sweetie. Do take care! Hugs...Pat
