Sailing over the ocean blue....

I'm trying to post my new card today, but it appears that blogger have changed up their editing system. Everything seems to have changed and I can only post one picture at a time. I hope this is just a temporary 'gliche' to their system.

Anyhoo, I do have a new card to show you today. I am using Dangling Sea Tilda #315 and the Sea Background #666, both from the Bon Voyage 2010 Collection and available from Diana's online shop. If she doesn't have them in stock, just let her know your want one or the other or both and she will order them for you. Her service is excellent!

I make all my cards 6 X 6" square so that they will accomodate lots of embellishments. In the case of this card is accomodates the large Sea Background. and the Tilda. Here is the front of my card.

I colored my images with Copics and used my Nestabilities for both the circle shape and for the sentiment.
Tilda was stamped on Xpress It paper and cut out then popped up on top of the Sea Background. I've added little pearls for buttons on her outfit as well as her shoes. The sea and waves were both painted with Stardust Stickles.

Here is a close up of Tilda, showing a little more detail...

I have used some of the latest Magnolia Designer Paper for this card, as I thought it was very suitable for the Naughtical Theme. I have used three layers for this card, one of red, then blue and then the dp.

To finish the inside of my card I wanted another Tilda and I thought this little "Tilda on Elbows" #266 would be just the perfect fit. Again my sentiment is computer generated.

Here is a closer view of Tilda on Elbows...

I have loved to stamp my signature on the back of my cards. This really makes them unique. For this card, however, I used one of the JustRite stamps that I received for my birthday. I thought the sentiment was perfect for this card and I colored it up using the same copics I've used on the rest of my card.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today...I hope you like what you've seen...
