Wednesday morning and we're already half way through week. I'm so excited because we're getting together with some friends tonight for dinner and a movie! It's been such a long time since we've been well enough to do that.
I have a new card for you today. I love the combination of blue and brown and when I purchased this designer paper from my local Scrapbook Store I knew exactly who I wanted to use it with. The dp has arrows containing words all done in soft white and blues with just a hint of brown. The flip side was a pretty brown floral pattern. You'll be able to see that more clearly on the inside of the card.
So here is the card I made...
I used Farewell Tilda available at Diana's store. She is #215 from the Bon Voyage Collection.
My Card Recipe:
Image - Magnolia-licious
Cardstock - Chocolate Chip, White, Soft Sky
DP - Creative Imaginations
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon - stash
Button - stash
Crafters Floss - stash
Martha Stewart punches - Lace Edge, Branch, Leaf
Glimmer Mist - Pearl and Bubble
Stickles - Crystal and Star Dust
Ticket - from a friend
Flourishes - Sizzix
Sentiment inside Card - Doodle Factory
Skin - E00,000,0000
Hair - E13, 25, 47, 49
Dress - B12, 52, 0000; C00, 01
Shoes - E34, 35, 11
Socks - G00, 01
Shading around Tilda - W00, 01, 03
Now here you can see Tilda a little closer...
I just love how the inside of the card turned out. I wanted to continue the design theme of the circles on the inside but I didn't want it to be just plain so I layered the Nestability Circles and added a Flourish across the top circle and edged it with a floral bouquet. All the flowers are sprayed with Glimmer Mist Bubble and Pearl and edged with Crystal Stickles. The Flourish was painted with Star Dust stickles.
I also used some flourishes on the notation panel just to finish it off...
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful day where ever you are. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog to see my lastest creation.
