Merry Christmas......

Yes, I know! I'm either way too early for next Christmas or embarassingly late for this past Christmas. No, no, no! Neither of those are right! I'm right on time for our new Stamptacular Sunday challenge. Our sponsor is the delightful Simon Says Stamps and they offering the lucky winner a $25 gift certificate and FREE shipping!

It's never too early to start your Christmas cards, so I hope you'll find some inspiration on the Stamptacular Sunday challenge blog and enter to win this week! Just make up a Christmas Card and add your link below the post.

This card was a major challenge for me, not because Christmas cards are harder to make than any other card, but because I've had so much going on in my life this summer, and fewer days to craft that I really felt pinched for time. I wanted to make a white on white card. I've seen so many beautiful examples, but no matter how hard I tried with this goal it simply wouldn't come together. So I threw that idea out the window and decided to add some color. My imaged is Tilda with Violin and was a free image from Diana at Magnola-licious. I think this image will be available this coming Christmas, so please be sure to check her store often!

Here is the card I made...

My card recipe is at the very end of this post for those of you who want to know all the elements I've used.

Here is a closer view of Tilda...

I also used a Magnolia sentiment...

The inside of my card...

I used Stardust stickles around each of my panels, and on the round sentiment on the front of the card. Other than the ribbon and my punched snowflakes, it's my only adornment, a little stray from the norm for me.

Well here is the card recipe I promised you...

Images: Tilda with Violin, Merry Christmas (Magnolia)
Sentiment on inside: Artistic Outpost
Punches: Martha Stewart Punch around the Page, Snowflake
Nestabilities -Circle Small, Scalloped Edge
Cardstock: SU Whisper White, Gina K Ocean Mist
Ribbon: Stash
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Soft Sky
Copics:
Skin - E000, E0000
Hair - Y21, Y23, Y26
Dress - B0000, B01 and Crystal Stickles
Wings - B0000, Y0000, RV0000 and Frosted Lace Stickles
Violin - E30, E31
Shadow under feet - W00, W1, W3
Shadow behid Tilda - B0000, Y0000, RV0000

Well thanks for stopping by today to review my card. I certainly appreciate the visit.
