I (heart) Cross Stitch Tilda...

I have a late week post for you. I was given a challenge, and the loan of the Cross Stitch Tilda image by my online friend, Sandy. Though we've never met face to face, we've developed at wonderful friendship through cyber space and now over the phone. When she saw all the stitching I was doing she wanted me to try it with Cross Stitch Tilda, and I can't believe I didn't already own her. So she sent me hers, and I got busy pulling my card together.

I first had to find a stitching pattern that I felt would "go" with Tilda and I ran across this pattern with hearts for a border! Perfect. My stitching is done with red embroidery and a verigated blue embroidery threads. That's why the little 'bursts' between the hearts changes color.

So here's the card I made...

I stamped and colored Tilda three times. I mounted one image on my stitched panel, then using pop dots I mounted the second Tilda. I cut out the hair bow, the shoes and the apron on the third colored image and popped those up on my other image.

I tried my best to take a side view of the card so that you could see the dimension...

The inside of the card is quite simple, all panel are stitched as on the front...

Card recipe:

CS - Whisper White, Real Red (SU) Bassill White for stitching panel, Cryogen White
DP - Gooseberry Patch
Ribbon - stash

Copics:

Skin - E00, E000, E0000 Cheeks - chalk
Hair - Y21, E30, Y11
Bow/shoes - R22, R29, R39
Dress - B14, B93, Blender

Glossy Accents
Star Dust Stickles

Thanks for droppin by to see my newest creation...
